Dr. Rainer Quitzow leads the research group Pathways to Sustainable Energy at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies (IASS) in Potsdam. He is also the elected speaker of the research area on Energy Systems and Societal Change at IASS Potsdam, which brings together five research groups on topics related to energy system transformation. He conducts research on the global political economy of climate and energy with a particular focus on questions of innovation and industrial development.
