Maria Fernanda dos Santos Mota has graduated in Bioprocess Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015) and master's degree in Chemical and Biochemical Process Technology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2017). She is doing the doctorate in the Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering program at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a period of 1 year of a sandwich at Monash University in the area of gas chromatography. She has experience in the field of cultivation and processing of microalgae and fungi. She is currently studying the characterization, processing and crystallization of oils from the Amazon using bioactive compounds.
