I am a Popular Health Educator in Brazil. Nowadays, I am a PhD Student in Public Health at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. From September 2019 to February 2020, I was a Guest Phd Student at Global Health Section, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, when I got involved in the multicenter research “Participatory mosquito control intervention using students as drivers of change: cocreation of school-based curriculum through community involvement” in Zanzibar, Tanzania. My academic interests include health promotion/disease prevention, health education, community engagement, social technology, critical pedagogy, participatory research, and art-based research. Professionally, had already worked as college professor and trainer of health professionals on social sciences and humanities in health, as well as public health and human rights consultant in NGOs. Theatre of the oppressed and clown are my two artistic background.
