Amanda Staudt has a bachelor's and master's degree in Food Engineering, currently performing a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and performed Sandwich Ph.D. at the University of Greifswald, in Germany. Amanda's Ph.D. project is about the biocatalytic transformation of natural products to obtain bioactive products. During the Sandwich Ph.D. worked in the Institute of Biochemistry, with professor Dr. Uwe Bornscheuer, with protein engineering, biotechnology, and enzyme catalysis.
